WHO WE ARE?
NewPath is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting immigrants and refugees as they transition to life in the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. Our mission is to provide mentorship, education, and mental health resources, helping individuals rebuild their lives with confidence and dignity. We guide newcomers through the resettlement process, ensuring they have the tools and support needed for long-term success.
Through our programs, we aim to address immediate challenges while fostering resilience and self-sufficiency.

OUR SERVICES
NewPath provides programs designed to support immigrants and refugees in their transition to life in the U.S.:
English Language Classes – Improving communication skills for daily life and employment
Cultural Adaptation Workshops – Covering legal rights, education, healthcare, and employment guidance
Family & Parenting Support – Educating families on child protection services, parenting strategies, and women's health
Digital Literacy Training – Teaching essential computer and internet skills
Community Outreach – Providing family support services, conflict resolution, and access to educational resources
Mental Health & Trauma Support – Offering counseling services for individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress and other mental health challenges
VOLUNTEER AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
We welcome individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of immigrants and refugees. Volunteers play a key role in our programs by assisting with teaching, counseling, outreach, and administrative support.
Commitment: Minimum five hours per week for at least five months
Benefits: Letter of recommendation, internship credits, and hands-on experience
